The Purpose of this Website

The Internet is a wonderful place to find useful information. It's also a very effective platform for spreading innuendo and intentionally defamatory information against other individuals and organizations, often with little recourse on the part of the defamed parties. My name is Michael Sauvante, and I, my wife, our venture capital partner Frank Bachinsky and a number of our colleagues have been hurt by just such an effort.

We were the victims of a hostile takeover effort for a company we had built from the ground up, which resulted in the company being destroyed, all shareholders losing their investments and the founders losing 8 years of their lives. On top of it all, the parties who attempted to steal our valuable technology resorted to a “rule or ruin” approach that not only eliminated the company, but the trashing of the founders’ reputations in the process.

The main tool used for that trashing was unsubstantiated claims made in a bankruptcy court (which went nowhere) and on the Internet through various postings, all but one of which is now fortunately gone. The remaining posting is easily identifiable by the blatant label of “SCAMS” prominently posted on the page.

And as is the case with all legally "defamatory" information (defamatory means that it is harmful to the intended party and is provably not correct), it contains material that can easily be proven false. Unfortunately that remaining site has been posted by a party that has left the country and is now outside the reach of U.S. law to compel them to remove the defamatory information, or face the legal consequences in court for the harm they are currently perpetrating with impunity.

Thus we are left with no other choice but to put up this website and hope that it will provide some balance to the willfully harmful information that the other party feels is justified in doing against fellow human beings. We have no desire to do to them what has been done to us, and therefore we will not point fingers or specifically identify them. We just wish to set the record straight.
